Let’s be honest, how many people would return a bag full of cash that they found in a parking lot?

We don’t think there’s many which is why this AEON staff member, Ram Akawal Mandal, is a rare gem!

AEON Delight recently took to their LinkedIn profile to praise their staff member, whose actions led to a bag filled with cash, an amount of RM18,000 as well as foreign currency, being returned to its rightful owner.

They wrote, “Recently, one of our staff members found a bag containing RM18,000 in cash, foreign currency and various personal documents that had been left in a trolley at the AEON Alpha Angle open parking. The staff member promptly handed over the bag to the customer service counter and it was successfully returned to its rightful owner.”

Having such a truthful employee brought nothing but pride and joy to AEON

Aeon 2

“The owner confirmed that no money was missing from the bag.”

“It is truly rewarding to have a staff member who embodies the principles of honesty and responsibility. Ram Akawal Mandal, we are also proud of your honesty and integrity,” they added.

In this day and age, especially with the struggles people have to endure, it is truly rare for someone to reject temptations and do the right thing when faced with these kinds of situations.

Kudos, Ram Akawal Mandal!
