Running marathons is a fun and healthy way to spend free time. But are marathons really just for people?
This goat ‘be-eegs’ to differ.
Netizen, @ijat.opie, took to her TikTok account to showcase how a little goat had participated and ran in the Larian Perpaduan 2023 at Mranti Park, Bukit Jalil on December 31, 2023 (Sunday).
She wrote, “The finisher for Larian Perpaduan 2023 this time around is different, it properly followed along until the end”.
In @ijat.opie‘s videos, the adorable 5-month-old goat Nami is seen wearing its own running bib and number as it runs alongside the crowd of participants at the marathon.
At one point, it became obvious that the humans running the marathon were too slow for Nami as it easily passed people between their legs. That’s right, you go, Nami!
There was no need to worry about Nami’s well-being, as its owner was running right next to it and provided it with water when it got thirsty. Nami also received countless pets from the participants to encourage and motivate them to finish the race.
