Is it really Malaysia if Malaysians don’t try to take advantage out of any and all situations and happenings?
For instance, after the recent Billie Eilish concert, there appears to be items owned by the superstar singer that are showing up on sale on online platforms.
Dean of Deen (@Mulut_Cabai) took to his Twitter page to showcase an online seller who had put up a pair of arm socks (or hand socks) for sale, allegedly belonging to Billie Eilish.
He wrote, “RM4,000 for Billie Eilish’s hand socks.”
The seller shared that they apparently got their hands on the clothing item after the singer had left them in her dressing room. The seller’s family member allegedly worked security during Billie Eilish’s recent Malaysian stopover and took the hands socks that were left behind.
“I got this, Billie Eilish’s Hand Socks, that she wore during her concert, left in the dressing room. The security guy is my uncle that helped me grab this before it was thrown away. Haven’t been washed yet. Original condition,” the seller wrote.
But many don’t believe that the hand socks belong to the singer, and can anyone blame them? After all, they have proof.
“Scammers are everywhere in Malaysia. Billie Eilish doesn’t know this.”
“Lmao, her (Billie Eilish’s) hand socks have glitter and it’s pink.”
“Is it the same? Because Billie wore a glittery one.”
Perhaps it’s a scam, or it could really be Billie Eilish’s hand sock. Who knows, if you have RM4,000 to spare, maybe you can find out.
Stay tuned for more updates.
