“Good stuff to be sold” – Online Shop Found Selling Pics Of Kids As Masturbation Material For RM6,000

Online shopping platforms and websites are places where you can shop for anything, from anywhere as your imagination is your only limit.

But did you know that you could come across pedophilic material while simply scrolling to find something to buy?

Nurul (@softcrocodile) recently took to her Twitter account to showcase an online shopping page which sold pictures of children as masturbation material.

“What? Is this real?” she wrote.

The images of the children were being sold for RM6,942.00 and was advertised as ‘good stuff to be sold’.

In the preview of the product images, pictures of multiple children of different ages could be seen and the description of the product is truly disturbing.

Masturbation material to be sold. Vintage limited items. Used. Can private message (PM) to negotiate the price. Love Ms PuiYi,” was written.

The images were also catergorised as ‘Personal Pleasure’ under ‘Health & Beauty’, and had a shelf life of “until dead”.

The page has since been taken down and someone has shared what you, as a netizen, can do when you stumble upon such sellers.

“With thousands of new listings per day, I believe a few kinds of listings can go public. The platform also doesn’t have enough staff members to moderate things like this. The best thing people can do is block and report the seller as soon as possible,” advised the user.

We genuinely hope that the authorities take notice of this and take appropriate action against the perpetrators.
