9 Real Malaysian Struggles Interns And Employees Alike Will Confirm Face At Work - World Of Buzz

So, after years of studying, you’re left moving on to your next phase in life – working. Becoming an adult is not the easiest thing, and while you’re at work, there are bound to be struggles you’ll come across. You know I know lah!

Anyway, we’ve compiled some of the most common (and all too real) struggles we’re sure any Malaysian can relate to. See if it applies to you!

1. That malas colleague that leaves his/her cups or plates in the pantry basin

Who do you think is going to wash your dirty used plates and cups for you, huh?! These colleagues are the ones that often leave dirty plates, cups, and cutlery on their own table too… least until the next time they want to use it anyway. Hey, can cause a pest infestation tau!

2. When internet that day is slow like nobody’s business

How are we going to work when loading a Google page is taking up to 2 minutes?! What time are we living in? The stone age?

3. Trying to lift your eye lids which are heavier than 100kg dumbbells after lunch

I’m sure every Malaysian has been there. That HUGE struggle of not falling asleep is devastating! Food comas are no joke.

4. Colleagues who love to talk behind your back or steals credit for the work you’ve done

Be it gossip or the toxic back-stabbing, it unfortunately seems to be a culture in most offices. Time to grow up people!

5. When you have to postpone your plans because you have to work OT

No one likes the dreaded OT, but work is work, especially when you have a fussy boss/client waiting on the other end.  If you are one of the poor souls who often have to work OT, don’t just down cup after cups of coffee. Remember that water is essential to keep you hydrated and awake too! Plus, it’s much healthier than caffeine!

6. Malaysia’s weather being too hot and then returning to an office that’s too cold

This is probably why some of us get sick easily. Plus, drinking hot/cold water becomes an even bigger hassle! I’m sweating but the office is cold. What to drink now?!

7. That moment when you’ve done a really good job, but client insists to change it all up last minute

8. When you realise your client is good looking, but you need to be professional

After scheduling that meeting through email, you then realise how handsome or pretty, he or she actually is in person. *Blushes* BUT! You fight that urge to say anything stupid because this is a professional, office setting.

In reality, inside you’re probably hoping to say:

WELL! Don’t be so thirsty okay. A certain degree of professionalism is expected from you during working hours! If so thirsty then drink some Spritzer water lah!

9. When your colleague finishes the water in the dispenser but did not bother to change it

In all honesty, this is the most upsetting and frustrating thing ever. Especially, when they do it on purpose!

Like, “Eh, now how am I going to get the hot water for my Maggi cup?!”  You can not even make yourself your much needed coffee, milo, nestum and more! Then you’re left there, having to put in the effort to refill the water and then purposely waiting another 10 minutes for the water to heat up. Talk about a waste of time!

Biggest sin ever right?! Not to mention, this person just deprived all his other colleagues of precious water (for a few minutes) because of his selfish act. #SayNoToThirst because water is super important for us throughout the day okay!

If you’re like us, you love your water, and you wish the dispensers wouldn’t run out so fast, why not consider getting the Spritzer Natural Mineral Water 6L and 9.5L bottles, and its dispensers!

Place them in your home and/or office, and you will never be thirsty again! You know what they say, the bigger the better 😉
