It is best for us to have our work checked by multiple people as sometimes, even the keenest eyes cannot spot a glaring mistake. It’s even worse when you are publishing your work to be seen by the public. One simple mistake can offend a lot of people if you are not careful enough.

In the midst of all the excitement, one TV station did a boo-boo by labelling Sabah and Sarawak on the Malaysian map wrongly. They have mistakenly switched the places of the two states. To some, this might be a small error but let’s think of the people from the states that we mislabelled. Surely they are angered and saddened by this error made by their Semenanjung counterpart. Mistakes do happen in life, but hopefully, we can be more careful in the future so that we can prevent something like this to ever happen again.

To all our East Malaysian readers, we will never mix up where state is located at!
