PDRM arrested a 33-year-old man in Tangkak, Johor, after he was suspected of slitting his wife’s throat before attempting to set his in-laws’ house on fire.

The man was said to have murdered his wife at his house in Taman Cahaya, Bukit Gambir on Monday (June 2) using a vegetable knife. The murder happened between 4:15 PM and 4:30 PM. He then made his way to his in-laws’ house in Lenga, Pagoh, Johor, which was about 40 KM away from his house, in an attempt to set the place on fire.

However, the man only managed to torch a few vehicles that were parked outside the house.
