The coordinating minister for the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme took to his Twitter this afternoon (17 May) to announce that the registration for opt-in will now include red-zone states of Johor, Penang and Sarawak, along with the Klang Valley. These states have been recording a high number of daily Covid-19 cases.

He added that for the second round of AstraZeneca (AZ) opt-in, doses that are not taken up by senior citizens after 26 May will then later be opened to those below 60.
