2 TLDM Helicopters Crash During Training Session in Perak, 10 Victims Confirmed to be Dead

2 Royal Malaysian Navy (TLDM) helicopters crashed at the TLDM Camp in Lumut, Perak, during a training session for the 90th Anniversary of TLDM, today (April 23) at 9:30am.

In a video showcased by Berita RTM, one of the helicopters could be seen colliding with another midair, causing both to fall from the sky.

The Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia have since reported that all 10 officers inside the 2 helicopters, the Helicopter Operasi Maritim (HOM-AW139) and the Fennec TLDM, have died from the incident.

Following this incident, TLDM will establish a committee to investigate the cause of the collision.
