The younger brother was suspected of murdering his older brother by slashing him with a knife before taking his own life.

In reports by China Press and Malaysia Gazette, the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) in Melaka received a report about the matter from the deceased’s housemate before deploying officers to the scene. The police found a knife and a rope at the scene.

One of the bodies was found in one of the bedrooms, while the other was found in the kitchen.

The brothers were heard quarrelling

One of the neighbours said that he heard the brothers, who were construction workers, quarrelling with each other around 5:50 PM before the housemates returned home.

According to him, the house was rented by both the deceased and another housemate, who returned home and discovered their corpses.

The neighbour also said that one of the deceased, who is the younger brother, married an Indonesian woman and has a child. However, it is understood that his wife ran away with the child.

“The younger brother had often argued with his wife, because the woman was not allowed to work.”

“Perhaps there was an issue between the two brothers that caused him to act like that. The younger brother was kind, and he always greeted me,” the neighbour explained.
