A Malaysian girl experienced a terrifying ordeal when her neighbour decided to climb into her house compound while she was home alone in Klang yesterday (13 November) at about 5:26pm.
Netizen, Freda Felicia, who is the girl’s older sister, took to her TikTok account to showcase CCTV footage of the incident as a warning to the general public to remain vigilant even while at home.

She wrote, “Just now, my neighbour from the opposite house climbed into my house while my younger sister was alone in the living room. Thank God she had locked the grille after bringing in the clothes; otherwise, things could have ended very differently. She was extremely frightened and is now traumatised by the incident.”
In the CCTV footage, the neighbour could be seen attempting to open the main gate that was locked before climbing over the gate into Freda Felicia’s house compound. He then walked out of view of the camera and appeared again, remaining within the house compound as the CCTV footage came to an end.
The man tried to enter the house after climbing over the main gate
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Freda Felicia explained that her 17-year-old sister was home alone as the rest of the family, including Freda herself, were at work.
While her sister was sitting in the living room, she suddenly noticed the man, who was standing at the grille of the house after climbing into the compound.

Freda shared that the man had allegedly tried to open the grille while asking the younger sister, “What’s your name?” and telling her to “Come closer”.
He also claimed that one of his belongings had fallen inside their house, even though he had never stepped inside before. The terrified girl then moved further into the house while shouting for him to leave.
“She cried and quickly called my mum and brother for help. My mum called me while I was at work, and I immediately contacted the police. The man stayed inside our car porch for around 10 minutes before climbing out and returning to his house directly opposite ours,” Freda explained to WORLD OF BUZZ.
Following this, Freda, her mum and brother returned home and confronted the man and his grandmother, though his grandmother claimed she had no idea the man had done such a thing.
A police report was lodged, but the man was allegedly not remanded
The family filed a police report before officers went to the man’s house. Later, the police allegedly informed the family that the man was not remanded as he had psychological issues and had been off his medication for several days. The police apparently only advised the man to resume his medication pending an investigation into this matter.
“The police also gave us assurances that we can call them if anything happens. My sister is now traumatised. She is afraid to even step into the car porch.”

Freda went on to question the police officer’s alleged decision not to remand the man.
“Just because someone has a psychological condition, does that mean they cannot be remanded? Must something worse like murder happen before action is taken?”
“Call me heartless, but truly, what rights do victims have when the perpetrator is repeatedly protected by ‘psychological issue’ laws? Why should the safety and peace of the public be compromised? Yes, we may empathise with people facing such conditions, but where is the balance between compassion and public safety?” she asked.
Freda also advises the public to prioritise safety by strengthening their home security, installing CCTVs, using strong padlocks for doors and grilles, saving the number of your nearest police station and teaching children how to call for help.
“Safety should never be taken lightly.”
