A 15-year-old boy was rescued after attempting to fall off a canal bridge in Thailand on 18 November (Tuesday).
According to The Thaiger, he was found on the bridge in his school uniform, crying and holding a handwritten farewell letter.

His note included an apology for the sadness he caused
Police Senior Sergeant Major Itsara Samakrob and Police Lance Corporal Thanachai Thianthong were called to a bridge in Pratu Chai district after reports of a student threatening to harm himself near the Pratu Chai intersection.
The teenager was said to be under a lot of stress from both family and school pressures.
According to the Bangkok Post, he later handed over a handwritten note apologising for causing sadness, feeling like a burden.
“I apologise for my mistake, for making you feel sad, and for causing you trouble (or difficulty). I know I have made this mistake repeatedly. I am truly sorry, and I fear I may make it again,” the note read.

The officers calmly approached him, offering comfort with a hug and emotional support, and were able to guide him safely away from the bridge with the help of his friends.
They then contacted the boy’s teacher and mother to pick him up and encouraged the family to seek mental health support.
