14yo M’sian Student Physically Attacked by Peers for Keeping Photos of His Ex-Girlfriend

A 14-year-old student was beaten by his peers out of jealousy and a relationship dispute.

The victim was physically attacked for still keeping pictures of his ex-girlfriend, who happens to be dating one of the attackers currently.

In a statement by Kemaman district chief police, Superintendent Mohd Razi Rosli said the attack happened twice on May 27 and 28, and 9 suspects – students aged between 15 and 18 were arrested on Sunday (June 15) around 1:30 PM following a report lodged by the Form 2 victim.

All suspects are currently being remanded for three days and will be investigated under Section 147 of the Penal Code for rioting.

According to PDRM’s preliminary investigation, one of the suspects was not happy with the victim, who still keeps pictures of his ex-girlfriend, whom the suspect is currently dating.

After the physical assault, the victim suffered injuries to the back of his body and his head.
