Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories), Hannah Yeoh, has stressed that she will not compromise in the fight against cartels attempting to undermine the country, particularly within the Federal Territories.
In a Facebook post, she said that any individuals or groups involved in such activities would be removed without hesitation. Her statement follows the circulation of a viral CCTV recording allegedly showing two individuals soliciting money from a massage parlour in Wangsa Maju.

“You pau, you out,” Hannah wrote in her Facebook post.
Earlier, Yeoh had ordered an immediate investigation into the alleged misconduct. The directive included instructing Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) to lodge a police report to ensure the matter is formally investigated.
According to a report by BERNAMA, the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) have confirmed receiving three reports related to the viral video, which allegedly shows two individuals believed to be members of the Federal Territories Residents’ Representative Council (MPP) asking for protection money from the premises.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Fadil Marsus said investigations are currently underway.
“So far, three reports have been received, and investigations are ongoing,” he said in a statement.
The case is being investigated under Section 385 of the Penal Code for extortion, as well as Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998, which relates to the improper use of network facilities or services.
Hannah’s firm stance reflects the government’s continued efforts to uphold integrity and accountability, particularly in matters involving public representatives. She reiterated that any attempt to abuse power or exploit businesses would not be tolerated, adding that swift action would be taken against those found guilty.
The incident has sparked public concern, with many calling for greater transparency and stricter enforcement to curb such activities in the capital.
