Pos Malaysia’s new initiative allows us Malaysians to turn our used courier packages into eco-friendly treasures!

Whether you’re an avid online shopper or not, delivery parcels and courier packages have become a prevalent aspect of our everyday lives. Personally, I often find it wasteful when I discard the used and opened courier packages as normal garbage, especially since most recycling centres only accept plastic bottles.

Good news, we can now give new life to these used courier packages at selected post offices across Malaysia. According to Pos Malaysia, these recycle bins for used courier packages can now be found at:

  • Bangsar Post Office
  • KL General Post Office
  • Shah Alam General Post Office
  • Pulau Pinang General Post Office

Besides courier packages, Pos Malaysia also accepts bubble wraps, cardboard boxes and poly mailers. “Let’s work together to make this earth a better place to live in,” it said in its official Facebook post.

Although there are currently only a few locations where you can dispose of these used packaging materials, Pos Malaysia has announced plans to install more bins at other post offices soon.

Let’s start recycling and make the world a better place!
