She needs to get her neighbours’ permission to own a dog
According to Sin Chew Daily, the woman was shocked to learn that she had received a warning notice for keeping a pet dog without her neighbours’ permission.
To make matters worse, she claimed that the MPK officer told her she would need to get her neighbours’ approval before owning a dog.
“The officer told me I have to ask my neighbours for permission before keeping a pet dog. I’ve had my dog for five years, and no one has ever complained,” she said.

According to the letter, the incident took place on 14 October at around 12:15 PM.

“I’m the only one who has a dog in the house. If my neighbours object to it, what am I supposed to do?”
