Woman in Johor Cuts Off Boyfriend’s Genitals After Finding Out He Hadn’t Divorced His Wife

On Wednesday morning (8 October), the police in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, received a distress call from a local man about a tragedy that befell his friend.

The man’s friend, a Bangladeshi national, had his genitals cut off by his lover, who was not happy that he hadn’t divorced his wife in Bangladesh.

The woman, who is also a Bangladeshi, committed the act in Kampung Lokan, Gelang Patah, Johor, and the victim suffered major injuries to his genitals and left hand after the violence.

Iskandar Puteri District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner M Kumarasan said that the victim was brought to Hospital Sultanah Aminah (HSA) for treatment.

 

Suspect nabbed in less than two hours

Kumarasan said police managed to arrest the suspect at 12:15 PM on the same day. The 34-year-old suspect has no criminal record and tested negative for drugs. A 29cm knife, which was used to attack the man, was also confiscated by the police.

According to the Royal Malaysia Police’s (PDRM) official statement, preliminary investigation revealed that the woman attacked her lover out of jealousy after finding out that the latter had not divorced his wife in Bangladesh, despite having been in a relationship with the suspect.

The matter is now being investigated under Section 326 of the Penal Code and Section 6(1)(c) of the Immigration Act 1959/63, and the suspect is being remanded for five days until 13 October to assist with the investigation.
