A Malaysian man is attempting to raise awareness after a woman blocked a parking bay for people with disabilities (OKU) by double-parking.
Worse, she allegedly refused to move her car to allow him to use the space to drop off his nephew, who is in a wheelchair, because he didn’t have an OKU sticker on his vehicle.

A woman allegedly refused to move her car that was blocking an OKU parking space
Taking to Threads, the man, Raja Kamarul Azzahar, explained that the woman refused to move her car, even slightly, despite him clarifying that he was dropping off a wheelchair user.
He wrote, “So, you’re not parked in the OKU space, but you blocked the OKU space. I am dropping off my nephew, who is in a wheelchair. When I asked you to move a bit, you refused because my car does not have an OKU sticker.”
“It is not enough that I showed you an actual wheelchair, instead of a sticker with an icon of a wheelchair, that anyone can buy and stick to their car. But, nooo, you refused to move. Because (I didn’t have a) sticker,” Raja Kamarul added.
Why didn’t he have an OKU sticker?
In the comment section of his post, Raja Kamarul clarified that his nephew was only staying with him temporarily while his foot heals from an amputation. Considering that the arrangement is only temporary, he didn’t think he needed to apply for an OKU parking sticker.
“The airhead thinks it’s okay to double-park, but not okay for a car with an actual OKU but no sticker to use the OKU spot to drop off. I’m posting this because I saw her taking my picture. Take this as a pre-emptive counter-post, if you will,” he added.
Raja Kamarul has since filed a report against the woman with the Road Transport Department (JPJ).
