When someone talks about the Olympics, we envision lean-bodied athletes who train for most of their lives to join this monumental competition.
However, we were in for a bit of a surprise when a video of the Baby Olympics surfaced on X (previously known as Twitter) and went viral.

In the less than 2-minute clip, we see many babies tackling the events that take place during the Olympics.
One of the first ones was gymnastics, where a baby danced to their rhythm while another toddler just stared at the hoop as if it was her enemy in the past life.
The 10-metre toddle featured multiple babies on the track waddling around like baby penguins towards the finish line.
The crowd favourite is the weightlifting segment where a baby representing Germany was showing off by holding the weights with 1 hand. The adult Olympics could never.
The final event featured a hurdle race where most babies either made the hurdles fall or made themselves fall.
A Google search shows that this video was first posted in 2021 but we believe that cuteness has no expiry date!
This adorable video was watched more than 26 million times, and many netizens found it very healing.
