Thanks to these good-natured students, the baby dolphin is safely swimming in the ocean once again!

A group of Terengganu students rushed to save an injured baby dolphin that washed up on the shore of a beach near Kampung Pak Tuyu behind University Terengganu Malaysia yesterday evening.

According to Sin Chew Daily, one of the students from the Department of Marine Biology known as Mohamad Azlani said that he was informed by the villagers in the area of a small injured dolphin that was found washed up ashore on a beach behind their university.

He quickly gathered a few of his classmates and the group rushed to the scene. Upon seeing the injured condition of the dolphin, who was struggling to swim back to sea, the group grew frantic with concern.

The poor creature was pictured with cuts around its eyes as it laid on helplessly on the side of the beach.

“We quickly wet the body of the little dolphin until it slowly started moving again. Then, I picked it up and put it back to the sea.”

In the video, the dolphin can be seen struggling to swim in shallow waters. The student then carefully picked the dolphin up and placed it in a deeper part of the sea. Fortunately, the dolphin was then able to safely swim back to its family!

The students were then documented cheering and celebrating their successful dolphin rescue. Well deserved!

Kudos to these helpful students for saving this dolphin’s life! What do you guys think of this?
