WATCH: Robber With Machete Attempts to Rob House, Runs When Family Rushes Out With Sticks

Recently, CCTV footage of an attempted robbery went viral on Facebook. According to Oriental Daily, this incident occurred on May 19 in Buntong, Ipoh.

The video started showing outside a house where a man was seen beside a lorry, and a car was approaching.

The white car stopped at the side of the house before backing up a little. All this time, the man at the side of the lorry was intently watching the car.

When a person came out, the man moved closer, thinking that they were asking for some sort of help. However, when they saw that the person was masked and holding a machete, the topless man ran into the house.

Emboldened by the running man, the masked man went into the house. Shortly after, the robber ran out of the house and quickly got into the car.

Chasing him was the family he tried to rob, most of them holding some sort of stick. The robber managed to get into the car, but the family was beating his car up with the sticks before he sped off.

One of the men even got on his motorbike to chase the robber.

According to Oriental Daily, the robber had robbed another home before attempting to rob the house in Buntong. The white car was a stolen car from the prior robbery.

 

We hope that the authorities will arrest the robber soon!
