A shirtless man in Bukit Bintang tries to scam a road user by pretending to fall in front of their car
The video, a dashcam footage of a car on 9 October 2024 at around 11.05pm, shows the car stopping at the traffic light junction while it was red.
A shirtless man, believed to be a beggar seeking alms in the area, then stands in front of the car while asking for the driver for some donations.
The overlaid text on the screen reads,
“This guy came and begged for some money. Unfortunately, I didn’t have cash.”
However, the man kept standing in front of the car, even when the lights turned green. Seeing that the individual was still blocking their way, the driver honked at the man.
Rather than going away, the man then suddenly pretended to fall to the ground, as if he was hit by the vehicle.
The man pretended to be hit and asked for help from other road users
Perplexed at what had transpired, the driver stayed inside their car. The man can then be seen trying to act to the other road users around as if he was hit by the car.
However, the others on the road didn’t believe the man, including a motorcyclist who helped reprimand the man for trying to scam the driver.
The man then stood up and walked away from the scene.
