Sexual predators are everywhere, even when you’re online and the concern is elevated when they’re targeting children. Just recently, a Singaporean mother who lives in Sarawak shared a conversation that she had with a stranger online, who targeted her 7-year-old daughter, Caroline.
The mother, Helen, set up a Facebook account for Caroline years ago and she has been handling her daughter’s FB account ever since.
However, a stranger’s presence shocked Helen, and it surprised her even more when the man had a lot of questions for Caroline, and he had no idea that he was actually speaking to Caroline’s mother.
“I can be your brother, or let’s have babies together”
After a brief introduction, things escalated quickly and the man asked Caroline if she wanted a brother, and even asked for her number.
“You’re cute, like a princess. You can find me anytime,” the creepy man told Caroline.
Despite being told that Caroline is always busy with her studies, the man was persistent, and he continued by promising Caroline that he can be the man who will take care of her.
“You’re in my heart, and I’ll make sure you feel the same. I can take good care of you and without you, it’ll be painful for me.”
During the conversation, the man kept asking Caroline to send him voice notes, which Helen rejected, and asked him for his pictures. The man, however, said that there is no need for his pictures to prove his sincerity. Things did not take long to escalate even further when the man started talking about having a future with Caroline, and it involves children with her.
“But I’m only 7 years old,” Helen told the man, to which he said it was not an issue.
He made it clear about what he wanted with Caroline – to make babies, and he wanted to do it right away. He invited her to his place and even taught Caroline how to lie to her family.
“Just tell them you’re going to your friend’s house to finish your homework.”
The man continued to stick to his “making babies” plan and assured her that despite her age, it was possible for Caroline to have a family with him.
“You’ll feel pain, but it’s okay. That’s what it feels to make babies.”
He then said goodnight to Caroline and sent a love emoji before telling her that he will pick her up at the agreed destination. When the man approached her again the next day, Helen immediately blocked the man.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Helen said it was fortunate that she has been handling her daughter’s FB account all this while and her daughter did not have to see the conversation.
“How dare he ask a 7-year-old to go out alone. He better pray that he does not have a daughter in the future.”
Helen also told WORLD OF BUZZ that she’s hoping for the matter to raise attention among all parents, especially those who have young children at home.

It’s scary to think how innocent, young children can be a target of ill-intentioned strangers online. We sincerely hope that everyone is protected from the weirdos they encountered online.
