Another day, and yet another case of animal abuse. Despite the fact that animals have nothing but love and loyalty to spare when we show them kindness, some humans are still hellbent on hurting these defenceless creatures, leaving them permanently scarred or worse still, dead.

In a video recently uploaded by netizen Arifah SK and @faezfeilzhaLee to social media, it has been revealed that a cruel person has left a poor stray cat permanently blind after gouging out its eyes.

The incident, which happened allegedly in Petaling Jaya, shows a trail of blood on a cement floor of a hallway that leads up to a poor cat facing one side of the wall. Apparently, from what can be heard being described, the cat’s eyes had been gouged out, leaving it blind!

Howling in pain, the cat could only face the wall, not being able to see. It doesn’t even move away, despite being petted. The agony and anguish it suffers from is unimaginable.

It has been reported that the cat has been brought to the vet for treatment. Unfortunately due to the fact that its left eye was completely gouged out, only the cat’s remaining right eye could be treated. Even then, it was said that the remaining eye was bleeding profusely.

The cat has since been sent to a shelter for further care, and the incident has since gone viral over social media.

We hope that the cat will be able to recover soon, given its extensive injuries and hope that the person that did this to it would be held fully accountable for his or her actions! ‘
