It was reported earlier that a mother from Johor was desperately searching for her 18-year-old daughter who had left her work dormitory with a man and cut contact with her family for 10 days.

Now, the daughter is speaking up!

Taking to the comment section of her mother’s Facebook post about her, the girl, 林佩霆, shared that she had left of her own free will. She also claims that her family has been threatening her as they wanted her to work closer to home.

“They threatened me verbally”

She wrote, “Hello everyone, this is me. I’m working outside. I’m doing a good job. Why would I be sent away? My family wants to prevent me from going out to work. They have problems, and they have even threatened me verbally. I have evidence of this.”

“The person in the video is my boyfriend. I’m sorry, everyone. This is really embarrassing. I had gone to the police station to report this matter since the beginning.”

She also shared a photo of her police report, which states that her stepsister had reached out to her the day before she left her dormitory to tell her that she didn’t approve of her taking a job in Melaka.

The stepsister also allegedly told her to apply for jobs in Singapore instead, but the girl still chose to work in Melaka.

In the police report, she added that she was making the report just in case something happened to her due to the conflict.

What do you think about this? Do feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section.
