Malaysia-based game streamer, vlogger and Esports host Rose Gaming caught the attention of netizens recently after a video of her hosting the Mobile Legends Professional Leauge (MPL) Malaysia for the 1st time last year went viral online due to her fluency in Bahasa Melayu, Tagalog and English.
This is not the 1st time the video has gone viral too, as Rose Gaming’s hosting skills made their rounds on social media in the Philippines, garnering thousands of new fans in the country.

This time around, the video went viral on X (formerly Twitter) after user @anthraxxx781 shared the video on the platform. As of the time of writing, the video has been watched over 551,000 times and garnered over 7,000 reposts.
In the video, Rose was speaking in Bahasa Melayu to the Malaysian crowd before catching the Filipino head coach Steve “Dale” Vitug of HomeBois by surprise by asking a question in Tagalog after the team’s win over Red giant Esports in the March 2023 tournament.
The polyglot then effortlessly switched back and forth between Tagalog, Bahasa Melayu and English as the crowd cheered on.

As reported by Rappler, Rose was raised in Malaysia but was born to a Filipino mother and a Singaporean father.
The video that went viral is her 1st time hosting in the MPL. She has since hosted many Esports events, most recently the MPL Malaysia Season 13.

In the replies to the X post by @anthraxxx781, many Malaysians were awed by Rose’s language prowess and her skills as a host.
One commenter said that Rose’s exploits show the benefits of learning other languages as it would make you more marketable.
Meanwhile, one commenter said that she’s been a fan of Rose for a long time and claimed that she is also fluent in Bahasa Indonesia.
