The Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) recently shared several touching photos of firefighters comforting an elderly woman after they responded to an emergency call from her family in Damansara, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
According to the statement shared on its official Facebook page, the Damansara Fire and Rescue Station shared that the emergency entails the woman, who is in her 70s, becoming locked inside a room at the house.

The post added that the incident took place on Sunday (9 November), and they managed to assist in forcing the door open at about 2:21 PM.
Attached to the post are several photos, including an image of the door forced open by firefighters. Moreover, they also shared a couple of touching photos of firefighters holding the elderly woman, who was sitting on the floor of the room, while comforting her.

A female firefighter held the elderly woman gently while another firefighter reassuringly placed his hand on her shoulder. Furthermore, aĀ family member was also seen holding the elderly woman’s hand to comfort her.
The heartwarming scene shows that our firefighters not only know how to help people in difficult situations but also in comforting those in distress. A huge kudos to the firefighters!
