What makes Khairul Aming, the local celebrity chef famous? It’s certainly not just his signature Sambal Nyet and how much he makes from it but also how generous and kind he has always been with his workers.

His big gesture of giving a huge bonus to all staff during Raya was not the only surprise he had for them this year. Just last night (May 21), Khairul shared on his Twitter and showed the good times he recently had with his employees – a 5 day vacation in Langkawi. They had plenty of fun there but the highlight of the vacation is perhaps watching the sunset on private yachts that Khairul rented for his team.

It’s not cheap to rent a private yacht but as a millionaire, Khairul enjoys sharing his wealth with his workers. Each private yacht came with a pool.

Fancy private yachts were not the only surprise he had in store for his lucky employees

On the 1st day, they were free to do anything they pleased before the team gathered to have a barbeque party while waiting for the sunset on the private yachts. Some of them even let off some steam by riding jet skis. On the remaining days, the team spent time exploring the cave and snorkeling.

Everything, including their stay in the 5-star hotel, was covered by the celebrity chef. But wait, there’s another surprise in store!

“I gave them more money so they can shop for anything they want,” Khairul added.

Most of the staff shopped till they dropped (not literally, of course). Khairul expressed his relief to see his staff happy during the trip.

“Where do we find an employer like Khairul in Malaysia?”

When it comes to food recipes and his generosity, Khairul never ceases to amaze everyone. His tweet went viral in less than 1 day, and many Malaysians are already envious not only of the trip but also of his staff who have an understanding and kind boss.

“A boss who doesn’t keep his luxury to himself but also shares with his employees. Where do we find a boss like him in Malaysia?”

“The more he gives, the more he gains in profit. A win-win situation where everything is shared.”

“I still can’t get why did he NOT win the Exemplary Employee Award. I’m not undermining the doctor who won the Award, but Khairul is more employee-friendly than the doctor.”

Another netizen praised Khairul for never spending on luxurious stuff but instead, sharing it to reward his employees through money, meals, holidays, shopping money, staycation, and more.

“I’m willing to move to Kelantan from Penang just to work for him.”

Feel free to feel jealous because who wouldn’t? Khairul’s generosity and his care for the well-being of his staff are admirable. Have you ever experienced any employer who is as kind as Khairul?
