Since CMCO was implemented, most schools and universities have been closed. It is said that the teachers have done a good job to come out with lots of initiatives to ensure online learning remains fun and interesting.
We should appreciate their efforts in helping students understand online learning in these tough times now that everyone is home.
Through a posting of a teacher from Sarawak, Nancy Maria shared on her Facebook page that she has been wearing traditional clothes of the Iban community while participating in online classes with her students.
According to her post, she said that she is trying to enjoy work from home this time, so as per the request of her students, she openly styled the traditional dress while teaching them.
“Google Meet Sem 1 is done. Next is the class for Sem 3 ❤. I try to enjoy my journey of “Working From Home” this time. Yesterday, many of my students asked me to “Ngepan Iban”, so today their teacher fulfilled their request. May all the efforts of the teachers in this world be blessed always”
This form six teacher also seems to be enthusiastic and has loads of fun while teaching her students and she even provided a thorough explanation in front of her laptop by writing on a whiteboard.
The students were focused and equally happy to attend her Bahasa Melayu class via Google Meet in preparation for their big exam soon.
A majority of netizens left positive comments on her creativity and efforts in ensuring the students stay engaged. So sporting!
