Artificial intelligence (AI) tools like ChatGPT have educators fretting over the future of education.
In a study done in the US, 43% of students were found to use AI and other similar applications to complete their homework, and in Malaysia it is no different.
In a Facebook status update, this educator shared an image of how a student submitted a reflection paper, but forgot to exclude “As an AI language model.”
Responding, “Not your reflection”, this is just another example of how educators are made to deal with cheating methods and technologies as long as teachers/lecturers have been asking students to prove their knowledge.
Netizens commenting on the Facebook update were disgusted at how students were misusing technology in replacement of hardwork.
“This is what our workforce in the future will look like.”
