Although us millennials love going to all those trendy new cafes that are popping up all over Malaysia, somehow nothing else beats drinking a cup of that thick, aromatic kopi that is served at our local kopitiams. Plus, it’s much cheaper too!

Just imagine drinking that cup of coffee with a plate of freshly-toasted kaya butter and some tantalising half-boiled eggs for the best breakfast you can get. Are you drooling yet? Well, it seems that our beloved neighbours over at the causeway also love these food because a local store, wheniwasfour selling lifestyle-inspired items has recently gone viral.

One of their latest creations is none other the iconic takeaway kopi plastic bags known as the Kopi Dabao Bag, which just looks super realistic! Of course, it differs slightly from our favourite ikat tepi method but it looks so amazingly cute and quirky that we don’t even mind. They even come with green and pink straps that you can switch around and even a straw just like a real takeaway bag. 😀

Taking a look at their online store will give you all of those nostalgic feels since Singapore’s culture is so similar to ours that you will definitely recognise a few childhood favourites there. Not only do they have the takeaway kopi bag but they also sell youtiao plushies, five stones (batu Seremban) cushions, half-boiled eggs bags, kaya toast and kopi-o bags, and various other adorable items.

If these aren’t enough to show your love for these items then they have accessories in various cute themes too such as fancy gem biscuits pins, White Rabbit sweet pins and even those old school exercise books used in school. They sell a wide array of items that range from cushions to stationery and even apparel. Cool or what?

Their items are affordably priced as well and best of all, they ship worldwide! Which means we can also buy them here! Or just ask a Singaporean friend or relative to receive on your behalf. The kopi bag costs S$19.90 (RM61) with other items also sold in a similar price range. If you’re in Singapore, you can also check out their physical store and stockists here.

BRB, going on a shopping spree for these super cute items!
