BTS’s Suga will be performing in Singapore in June and it’s not surprising that the tickets are hella expensive. with tickets ranging from SGD$168 (RM556) to SGD$348 (RM1152) excluding booking fees, not everyone who are superfans would be able to afford the prices and attend the concert.
So is the story of a helper to a Singaporean family, who very much wanted to watch her idol perform live but could not afford the ticket.
Thankfully, she has amazing employers in the form of Kimberlee Ang and her siblings, who took to TikTok to share how she brought the helper to tears (happy ones!) as Kimberlee had braved an insanely long online queue to buy the ticket for her! Kimberlee, can you hire us too?
Kimberlee wrote, “This must be the most intense ticket purchasing for me. I didn’t know how quick the army (BTS fans) can be! Nur, hope you like your gift from us. Thank you for being with us for 7 years.”
In the video, Nur could be seen gleaming and even cried tears of pure joy as she squatted down, becoming overwhelmed.
“I’m shaking,” Nur said.
“You’re shaking? My whole body sweating ah. Walao. I never buy ticket, buy until so stress one, you know,” Kimberlee responded.
The reason why the purchasing process was so stressful was because there were over 5,600 people ahead of Kimberlee when she attempted to buy the ticket and she was bounced out of the website 3 times before she finally managed to secure a ticket for Nur.
But it was all worth it in the end!
“I’m glad her dream in coming true.”
