Singer-songwriter Sam Tsui has always been a fan-favourite in Malaysia, ever since his early days doing covers and musical medleys on YouTube. Since then, Sam has married his husband, singer Casey Breves, and they even adopted a child, on top of making amazing content on TikTok.

A while ago, the duo decided to challenge themselves by doing a cover of a song from every country in the world, and it’s finally Malaysia’s turn!

Taking to his TikTok page, Sam shared an amazing clip of him and Casey singing the one and only, Siti’s Nurhaliza’s song; Bukan Cinta Biasa, and we have to say, they killed it!

Sam wrote, “Representing Malaysia, it’s our attempt at Bukan Cinta Biasa by Siti Nurhaliza.”

Malaysia was number 73 on their list of 195 countries to cover.

They literally chose Malaysia’s most loved local song and did it justice!

In the video, Sam and Casey sang the chorus to the iconic song and it’s obvious that they did their homework before attempting the cover.

Their pronunciation of the Malay lyrics were ridiculously clear and accurate and not to mention, their voices sounded angelic!

Siti Nurhaliza would be proud.
