“It is safe for consumption”
In a statement, Spritzer assured the public that initial tests confirm the water in the affected samples is safe for consumption.
“Spritzer acknowledges recent feedback regarding an unusual smell in certain bottles of our Natural Mineral Water. We have taken immediate action, including batch tracing, rigorous testing, and thorough audits of our handling, storage, and transportation processes.”
They also noted that investigations into the issue are still ongoing.

“Please store in a cool, dry place”
Spritzer also took the opportunity to remind consumers about proper storage practices for bottled water, noting that bottles can absorb odours if placed near strong-smelling items.
“Please store in a cool, dry place and consume the water soon after opening. Your trust is our priority. Thank you for your continued support.”
They also encouraged customers seeking assistance or an exchange to send the product’s batch code, purchase details, and contact information via WhatsApp at +6017 4353663 or +6012 9792663, or email them directly at ym.moc.reztirps@ofni.
