Regardless of one’s career, everyone should be treated with respect and dignity. Sadly, some professions are still being taken advantage of, leaving some people feeling not only disrespected but also unsafe.
Just recently, on her Facebook account, Xiao Rou, a professional waxer in JB shared the details of how a client of hers offered extra money for extra service. The client started by enquiring about the price for waxing private parts, and it didn’t take him long to reveal his true intention.
“I’ll give you RM300 and in return, you’ll give me a handjob? Can?”
Xiao Rou simply rejected and said “no” but the persistent man tried to increase the price to another RM100, in the hope that he would get the happy ending that he wanted. Still, Xiao Rou rejected and told him,
“Respect please. We are professional waxers.”
In what should have been his cue to stop, the man continued to question why Xiao Rou refused to earn the extra money. Irritated, the waxer told the man to give the money to his mother instead, which made the man unhappy.
“You could’ve told me if you don’t want to do it. Not like this, and I’m just asking.”
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Xiao Rou said that throughout her time as a professional waxer, this wasn’t her 1st time of being addressed with such an inappropriate question.
“I believe those who are in the same industry as me can relate to this.”
Xiao Rou also told WORLD OF BUZZ that the conversation did not end immediately, as the man continued to ask about her refusal to earn “easy money”. The waxer, however, did not bother to respond anymore.
“I’m a professional waxer, I don’t provide that kind of extra services. Why don’t these men look for a prostitute to wax their private parts instead?” she wrote on her Facebook post.
It must be terrifying for the ladies to receive such a question from some men, and it must be tiring when it happens too often. To those working in the industry, can you relate to Xiao Rou’s frustration?
