Animal shelters often times require a lot of monetary help from the general public to keep their doors open and to ensure the furry friends they house are kept fed.
Hence is why the animal shelter owner is most important as they keep donation efforts running and care of the animals.
The My Forever Doggo organisation recently took to their Instagram page to help seek assistance for an animal shelter in Rawang called ‘Puppy’s Loving Home‘ after the owner allegedly went missing.
They wrote, “Yesterday, a lady who runs a shelter in Rawang named ‘Puppy’s Loving Home’ has been reported missing. She has not returned to the shelter for more than 24 hours. Her husband does not know of her whereabouts and it is suspected that she may have ran away.”
What makes this worse is that her disappearance has caused the abandonment of about 700 animals.
“About 700 dogs and a few rabbits have been left behind together with her husband – starving at the shelter. The owner has previously expressed concerns relating to mental health and financial debts, however not much else is known about her backstory.”
“In response to the situation experienced by the 700 dogs left behind, a few kind independent rescuers have stepped up to help them.”
If you’re interested to assist and support, you can contact the rescuers at:

“Shima and Paul will be purchasing and bringing kibble to the shelter as soon as they can. Please be advised to support and donate at your own discretion,” they added.
