Most of the time, museums have permanent artifacts and exhibits on show. But sometimes, there will be limited edition displays that only a lucky few will be able to catch.
The British Museum in London had a surprise exhibit last week when controversial Malaysian influencer, Pui Yi flashed her breasts for an Instagram photo during a visit there and captioned it “Beautiful sculptures”.
In the photo posted on her Instagram that now has close to 350,000 likes and 35,000 likes on Facebook, Pui Yi is seen standing in front of some rock sculptures and holding her white blouse up, revealing her breasts in a lacy red bra.
Netizens chime in
Known for her raunchy clothing and explicit photos, Pui Yi is no stranger to controversy. However, this specific photo has unsurprisingly drawn more attention as netizens criticised her for disrespecting such a public and history place such as the British Museum.
Meanwhile, there are also some netizens who felt that the British Museum did not deserve any respect because of the fact they acquired their displays and exhibits from other countries.
Regardless, Pui Yi seems to be unconcerned. Riding on the coattails of the British Museum post last week, she has since posted an even more provocative photo which has already gained close to a million likes at time of writing.
This time, she is seen at the National Art Gallery London with an even more suggestive choice of outfit.
Sporting an oversized varsity jacket and a nude see through top, her breasts were on full display as she left out a bra for her visit to the art gallery.
Nudity allowed on Instagram?
While most of the comments on the post were compliments, a few questioned how Pui Yi’s posts are bypassing Instagram’s policy on nudity.
According to Instagram’s Help Centre, the platform “(does not) allow nudity on Instagram. This includes photos, videos, and some digitally-created content that show sexual intercourse, genitals, and close-ups of fully-nude buttocks. It also includes some photos of female nipples…”
