In late February, an influencer duo was arrested after they had taken pictures of themselves cross-dressing at the Laman Mahkota Istana Bukit Serene in Johor.

One of the influencers named Deacon Chai (who is also named Xiao Honey following his Internet persona) has found himself in hot water once again for posing in front of a signboard on Bukit Cinta, Jementah, Johor.

A statement was uploaded by the Johor Police on this issue which says that someone had lodged a police report against Deacon for his indecent clothes and risque acts done in a public park.

“The complainant was dissatisfied with Deacon for being irresponsible and for acting indecently in a public space.”

Following up on that, an investigation paper will be opened under Section 509 of the Penal Code and Section 233 of the AKM 1998. If found guilty, Deacon can face up to 5 years in prison, he will be fined, or both.

Responding to that, the influencer says that he will be held responsible for his actions and that his recent post may be his last post.

“I’m so sorry, I have once again, accidentally, gone against the law. This may be my last video in this week, month or year. I don’t know if the court will find me guilty or not.”

Nevertheless, he has said that he will be turning himself into the police as he would like to take responsibility for his actions. As a final message, he said:

“I’m thankful for the support that I have received from friends and netizens alike. I never regretted it, no matter the consequences that I will face the following day. I never regretted being Xiao Honey.”

“Thank you so much for supporting and loving me. I am grateful for the times we’ve spent together so please wait for me to be back.”
