Abang Bas was bailed out of jail by a Malaysian lawyer, who told netizens to get their money ready as the family is planning to take legal action for the criticisms thrown at the Malaysian TikToker.
With the bus confiscated by PDRM, Abang Bas cannot go back to work, and his niece is missing him. According to a viral TikTok post by the sister of Abang Bas, her daughter has been asking about Abang Bas’ disappearance.
“Why isn’t uncle picking me up at school?”
In her post, the woman said she could only hold her tears back when hearing the question.
“I had to tell her that her uncle cannot pick her up at the moment. But how long can I lie? I’m holding back my tears as I’m typing this.”
Social media users show sympathy
Social media users took the opportunity to express sympathy and many wished the family well, as well as seeing Abang Bas back to work again.
“Hopefully Abang Bas will go back to work as usual.”
“I pray everything goes smoothly for Abang Bas and his family.”
“This is a big test for Abang Bas. He lost his monthly income. Poor him.”
Another social media user also highlighted that all criticisms online have been nothing but defamation.
“To those who defame Abang Bas, read this. I pity the kids and I understand how it feels because I have a lot of young relatives too, and they’re all very close to me.”
“Poor Abang Bas. I hope everything goes back to how things were, and Abang Bas can fetch his niece again.”
