Civil servants are being urged to improve the quality of the services they provide to the people.
According to a report by Kosmo, Public Service Department director-general, Tan Sri Wan Ahmad Dahlan Abdul Aziz shared that there is a crisis of trust among the people towards civil servants, due to several unfortunate events that have occurred.

“Therefore, I do not want any more complaints because the Madani government under the leadership of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is now emphasising our speed as civil servants, to provide the best service to the people. We can no longer be comfortable working the old way,” he said.

Tan Sri Wan Ahmad Dahlan also explained the importance of digitalising services to prevent unwanted situations.
“In addition, improving technological elements, including digital applications, can facilitate transactions and thus reduce the risk of people being dissatisfied with our services. If related transactions can be carried out digitally, the culture of corruption can also be curbed since physical interaction can be minimised,” he added.
