With all the excitement surrounding the opening of UNIQLO’s new roadside megastore, there’s bound to be crowds of people to follow suit.

UNIQLO launched their very first roadside megastore today (18 December) and the area was packed with loyal customers who wanted to get the first look at their latest location in Damansara Avenue.

In a series of photos posted on 我爱大马美食 I Love Malaysian Food, a huge crowd of people can be seen waiting in line to be let inside the store. In fact, the queue to get inside the store was so long that it backed all the way past the carpark.

In another video uploaded by 吉隆坡美食猎人 Gourmet Hunter KL, it looks like authorities and UNIQLO staff were stationed around the premise to monitor physical distancing between the customers. However, it appears as though some cars double-parked on the road opposite the store as there was no parking left in the premise to fit the influx of customers present at the opening.
