The funeral of the female student, He En Ni (transliteration), who fell from a condo in Setapak, was held yesterday (August 23). En Ni’s family also brought her pet dog to the funeral home.
As of yesterday, the dog had not eaten or drunk anything for two days following its owner’s death, seemingly aware that En Ni was no longer around.

According to Sin Chew, the dog was seen shedding tears during the ceremony as the family bid farewell to the deceased. Family members were surprised by the emotional display and were seen continuously wiping the dog’s tears.
En Ni’s father also revealed that his daughter was allegedly subjected to mental and emotional bullying by three peers, who later isolated her during a university project. En Ni, a third-year Public Relations student, was expected to graduate by the end of this year.

She is believed to have jumped from the 22nd floor of her rented unit in Setapak, KL, around 6:30 am, just 14 hours before another student reportedly fell from the same location.
The KL Police Chief confirmed that PDRM is investigating the matter after receiving a report from the deceased’s mother, who claimed En Ni had been bullied.
The case is being investigated under Section 507B of the Penal Code, which covers threatening, abusive, or insulting words or actions intended to cause or known to be likely to cause harassment, distress, fear, or alarm to a person.
