Festive seasons are a time of celebration and unity between family and friends.

But including your whole neighbourhood and community into the celebrations can often times make the festivities much more lively, vibrant and wholesome.

Netizen, Firdaus eusope, took to his TikTok account to showcase how the residents of an entire flat block in Penang had coordinated their Hari Raya decorations to create a gorgeous, colourful pattern throughout their entire building.

Raya 1

Firdaus Eusope wrote, “Kampung Melayu Raya 2k24”.

In his video, an entire flat block in Kampung Melayu, Penang, could be seen completely lit up with coloured-lights in a gorgeously coordinated pattern. It’s obvious that a lot of thought and cooperation was put into their plan to usher in the festive season together.

Raya 2

What makes this so much prettier is the reflection of the lights against the cars parked below.

In a more recent video, the same building could be seen in the background as fireworks are set off to welcome this year’s Hari Raya Aidilfitri. The whole scene looked absolutely magical and the residents should feel proud of their efforts!

Raya 3

We genuinely hope that more neighbourhoods and building residents band together to coordinate their festive season decorations, so as to build better relationships with their fellow community members and make the holidays so much for lively!
