According to BERNAMA, PDRM has confirmed that they have received 4 separate reports of tiger sightings with the most recent one being on the night of 2 September.

The Hulu Selangor deputy police chief DSP Mohd Asri Mohd Yunus has said that they have informed the Department of Wildlife Protection and National Parks (Perhilitan) so that they will be able to take action early on for the locals there to be safe.

“Perhilitan is conducting an investigation regarding the tiger roaming around by installing several cameras to identify the location of the animal.”

It is said that the locals there had seen and heard a tiger roaring near the chalet of a well-known influencer in Batang Kali.
