While they are often not ideal, health procedures for animals and pets are important to ensure they remain in a healthy state. Yet, just like any human, there are just some things these critters need to help them get through the stressful period of hospitalisation.
A recent clip on TikTok seems to be highlighting such an idea when an employer at a veterinary clinic in Shah Alam named Arman shared a video to his page @mamihtzayzay, of one cat who needed his favourite toy to get him through a tough procedure. Clutching on to what seemed to be a stuffed rabbit plushie, the cat in the video lies down comfortably on a table at the clinic.
With his eyes fluttering and him lounging on the table in a calm manner, it seemed as though the cat was recovering from what will probably be the most difficult procedure of his life.
“Even for a circumcision, he could bring his good friend along,” light-heartedly wrote Arman in the caption of his post.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Arman stated that the six-month-old cat, whose name is Oyen, was resting after the circumcision procedure. Arman was instructed to overlook him, as his owners were not present at that moment.
Providing more details on the operation, Arman said that Oyen was in a feisty mood when it was time to put him under anaesthesia. That all changed when Oyen saw his stuffed toy, which was brought along and kept in a cage temporarily.
“After we gave him the toy, he stopped fussing and we were able to carry on with the procedure. Just with the company of his good friend,” said Arman to WORLD OF BUZZ.
Garnering a substantive response online, many people, whose hearts went out to Oyen, also expressed how cute it was for his owners to bring his stuffed toy along for the procedure, as they knew he’d need it.
“He’s saying, ‘I have accepted my circumstance now’,” jokingly wrote one user.
