- Zack Snyder first pitched this as a Star Wars movie to Lucasfilm in 2012 but it never took off.

2. Extraction 2
Featuring the action blockbuster veteran Chris Hemsworth, this movie casts him as the commando Tyler Rake. Back from the brink of death, this hardened mercenary takes on another deadly mission to save the imprisoned family of a ruthless gangster.
Here are a couple of interesting facts to remember as you watch this adrenaline-pumping sequel:
- Golshifteh Farahani, who played the role of Nik, said in an interview that Extraction 2 used the least visual effects and they did almost all the scenes without stuntmen.
- One of the action scenes in the movie was filmed in the same location where they shot the opening sequence of Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol.

3. One Piece
Based on one of the most popular manga ever by Eiichiro Oda, this series follows Monkey D. Luffy, a young pirate who joins a ragtag crew on an epic voyage for the eponymous One Piece treasure.
Before you set sail, here are some interesting trivia to keep in mind about this live-action adaptation:
- The creator of One Piece, Eiichiro Oda worked closely with the directors and writers to ensure the show would be as close to his vision as possible.
- Most of the pirate ships featured were built in Cape Town, South Africa where most of the show was filmed.
4. King the Land
This K-drama tells the story of Goo Won, the charismatic heir of the luxury hotel conglomerate, The King Group. Due to issues with his inheritance, he clashes with the hotelier Cheon Sa-Rang, whose irresistible smile he cannot stand.
In addition to the hilarious setting, these fun facts also add a sprinkle of charm to this quirky K-drama:
- Second-generation K-pop fans are in for a treat as this series’ main stars are Lee of 2PM and Yoona of Girls’ Generation, both of whom were active K-pop artists in the early 2010s.
- Before the series debut, a prequel webcomic is created to expand the drama by featuring companion stories revolving around the main storyline.

5. The Mother
Jennifer Lopez stars in this action thriller as an unnamed military operative who teams up with an FBI agent to rescue her teenage daughter after she is kidnapped by criminals.

- Maluma’s song, “Mala Mia” was featured in this film. Maluma was Jennifer Lopez’s co-star and made the soundtrack album with Jennifer Lopez in the movie Marry Me.
- The movie features scenes where oranges fall down a flight of stairs and a casket is seen in the small village’s street. This is a reference to The Godfather movies.
6. Leave the World Behind
A family’s getaway on Long Island is turned upside down by the appearance of two strangers who bear news of a blackout caused by a cyberattack. With the threat at hand, both sides must do their best to survive while coming to terms with their own place in the collapsing world.

- GH’s neighbor’s last name is Huxley, a reference to real-life writer Aldous Huxley who wrote Brave New World and other novels that painted pictures of dystopias where technology is misused to afflict humanity.
