Just recently, a Facebook user, Lynn, has shared her story on how she managed to get free theme park tickets at Genting Highlands.

According to her post, this is how you’re able to redeem free tickets:

  • There’s a recycling machine located at the indoor theme park.

  • Instructions are given on the vending machine on how to redeem the tickets.
  • 1 can/plastic bottle = 10 points
  • To be eligible to redeem 1 FREE RIDE of your choice, 50 points(5 plastic bottles/cans) are needed.

  • To be eligible for the BUY 1 FREE 1 unlimited rides, you’ll need 100 points(10 plastic bottles/cans).

  • Once you have gathered enough points for your desired reward, just head over to the ticket counter and redeem your tickets. Please note that you DO NOT have to purchase a ticket FIRST in order to be eligible for the reward.

  • You are allowed to bring your own bottles and cans from home to recycle. But, make sure that the cans are not too thin.
  • As the deposit area is slightly small, bigger cans such as baby milk formula cans may not fit.
  • As of now, there’s no limit as to how many tickets you can redeem.

This is an absolutely innovative idea as it would help encourage people to recycle and enjoy perks!

If you’ve tried this and would like to share your experience/tips, let us know and we will include it in our article where necessary! Happy trying!
