Well, this little baby had a very narrow escape! It can be a little hard to keep track of your kids sometimes but this is taking it to the next level.
Recently, a toddler in Ban Rai district in Thailand managed to escape death thanks to a sharp-eyed schoolteacher. The man, Kittithorn Jadaeng had posted on his Facebook about almost driving over a baby who had suddenly crawled out in the middle of the road, giving him the fright of his life.
He said that he was approaching the bend of a road in Uthai Thani as he was scheduled to supervise an examination at Banmai Klong-angwa School in Ban Rai district. Luckily, he managed to narrowly avoid the baby crawling right in the middle of the road and stopped just in time before he ran the baby over. What a close shave!
Jadaeng said in his post, as translated by The Star, “The baby was almost in the middle of the road and if a car had been speeding past that spot while the baby was there, I don’t want to imagine what would have happened.”
The kind man stopped his car and decided to look around for the baby’s parents when he discovered that the baby had escaped from a house nearby. It looks like the baby was unsupervised as the mother had went out and the father had fallen asleep at home. Big no-no!
Jadaeng managed to bring the baby back home safely and took photos of the incident to share with others as a cautionary tale. He ends his post saying that he doesn’t want fame and hopes that parents would look after their kids more carefully as accidents can happen anytime.
Thankfully the little baby was saved just in time!
