He wrote, “I was truly touched when I met Sister Aminah Sulaiman, a strong woman who was willing to spend RM200 to rent a car just to come and express her gratitude for the assistance and initiatives of the MADANI Government, which has somewhat eased her life.”
“Seeing her tears of gratitude and hearing her words not only touched my heart but also evoked feelings that are difficult to describe. The prayers and hopes of people like Sister Aminah are a reminder of how heavy this responsibility is and how great the people’s hopes are that we carry every day.”
The Prime Minister also shared a video of his interaction with the woman, where she tearfully compared him to the late activist and former President of South Africa, Nelson Mandela. She also praised him for his efforts in taking care of his people and his country.
“I will not stop fighting”
The interaction has left the Prime Minister with a sense of determination, as he went on to explain that he and the MADANI Government will not stop improving and fighting for justice.

“I and the entire MADANI Government machinery will continue to work as hard as we can, improving policies, improving implementations and ensuring that every family from villages to cities are no longer marginalised, and truly feels the kindness and social justice that we are fighting for,”
“God willing, as long as there are voices from the people like Sister Aminah, I will not stop fighting. I will carry this trust with a heart full of humility and determination that will never fade,” he added.
According to BERNAMA, Aminah had rented a car for RM200 to travel and fulfil her dream of meeting Anwar, something she had been cherishing since 1984.
“I am truly grateful. I performed sujud syukur (prostration of gratitude). I cried. I want him to remain as Prime Minister for the rest of his life. There has been no other Prime Minister who declines a salary – only him,” she said.
