The times are changing, and this means that everything else needs to keep up with it.
Many workplaces have now implemented changes to ensure the best possible working environments for their employees, and this includes the Negeri Sembilan government.
According to RTM, the state government has said that they will be implementing flexible working hours for their civil servants starting 15 January.
The Negeri MB, Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun, says that this is a strategy to improve the quality of service by the civil servants to the residents of the state.
“I belive flexible working hours are useful to all civil servants as it can help them avoid the rush hour or issues with picking up/ dropping off their children at school.”
He adds that with this, they wouldn’t be getting certain excuses any longer and that they do not want the working hours to be misused.
So, the MB urges the civil servants to use the flexible working hours efficiently and warns that the local government will stop the initiative if they are found misusing it.
Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun also mentions that civil servants should be committed, serious and proactive when doing their jobs and addressing any complaints that they receive from the people.
Even though the government is making changes, we wonder why other companies (which can definitely do the same) are not adopting this measure as well.
